Enseada Indústria Naval participates for the first time in OTC Brasil, whose theme is “Transforming Today to Power the Solutions of Tomorrow”, one of the main Oil and Gas fairs in the world, which will take place between October 24 and 26 in Rio de Janeiro. Enseada’s participation in the fair reaffirms the potential of the company that, even in the midst of the crisis and lack of orders from the shipbuilding and offshore sector, continues to believe in the qualification of its professionals and facilities, and will present its industrial unit as an alternative to construction FPSO hulls and modules, specialized ships and ship repairs, as well as other demands of the Oil & Gas industry with high quality, productivity and internationally competitive deadlines.

The shipyard has the capacity to process more than 100 thousand tons of steel per year, 1,800 tons of lifting and has more than 1,000 meters of pier. The shipyard also has a team with extensive experience in naval and offshore projects, trained in Japanese technology from Kawasaki Heavy Industries (a world reference in quality and productivity), through a technology transfer process that has brought greater efficiency to its professionals and facilities.

Currently, the shipyard occupies an area of ​​1.6 million square meters in Bahia, in strategic location and favorable to the development of naval and offshore projects of high complexity, in a region of sheltered waters, with great depth and area for maneuvers of large vessels, at the mouth of the Paraguaçu River, 23 nautical miles from Salvador.

During the event, Enseada professionals will be available at the booth to receive visitors and, especially on the 25th, Wednesday at 5pm, the entire board of the company will be gathered at the booth at the disposal of its visitors.

“The company’s booth will be used to present visitors with a modern and well-equipped construction site, staff with ample know-how and willingness to work,” concludes the executive.

Founded in 1969, the OTC is held annually in Houston, but has expanded technically and globally with the Arctic Technology Conference, OTC Brazil and OTC Asia.
